COURSE:
American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED
is an instructor led course which teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrive. This two (2) year certification is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in First Aid/CPR/AED and can be used to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. (Adult/Child/Infant)
Skills covered in this course include adult, child and infant recognition and resolution of sudden cardiac arrest, choking, severe allergy and opioid overdose, among others. In addition to learning First Aid, participants are trained to give CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely and effective manner.

COURSE
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
is an instructor led course geared toward healthcare professionals. It teaches both single rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics.
2 year certification.
Skills covered in this course include recognition of life-threatening emergencies,
High quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of the automated external defibrillator (AED) as well as relieving airway obstructions in patients of all ages.

All students receive certification on the day of class and each participant receives an AHA Student Ebook.
